Dried plum chutney

Prune chutney with hazelnuts, curry, cinnamon, and vinegar. Chutneys are sweet and sour sauces made from fruits, vegetables, and spices. We have adapted them to the Mediterranean style with spices from our own cuisine. The results are harmonious flavors that are not as spicy as the original recipes from India.
It is ideal for making a curry and raisin sauce for poultry. It is also perfect for preparing a prune sauce to serve with pork or duck. Ingredients Prunes, water, apple, sugar, hazelnuts, vinegar, curry, cinnamon, and red pepper.


Pork loin with plum chutney

1 Pour a generous dash of oil in a pan and when it is hot, fry the pork loin on all sides until it is completely browned.
2 Take it out and set it aside.
3 Add chopped onion to the oil and when it is transparent from cooking, put the pork loin back in.
4 Add a glass of red wine and a tablespoon of plum chutney.
5 Let it cook awhile so that the alcohol evaporates and add a glass of water and as many prunes as you would like.
6 Let it cook slowly until the pork loin is cooked.
7 Decorate each pork loin portion on the plate with plum chutney, prunes and some potatoes as a side dish.
