This month of March has been very intense in terms of food fairs, visits and trips, but without any doubt it has been so very worth it!

It has been several months of effort preparing Alimentaria Barcelona 2024, and we could not be more satisfied with all the work done by our sales team!

Besides that, we really want to THANK all of you, clients and friends of ours, for having stopped by our stand to say hello, share some time together and learn a little more about what we are up to.

But the exhibitions season does not end here yet... Because on April 20 and 21 we will be in Vic, capital of Osona, at LACTIUM, the cheese sector food show, and then we’ll go to Madrid to attend at a new edition of the SALÓN GOURMETS, from April 22 to 25!

In Madrid we will have two stands: GBech 4aGama with everything for the hospitality food sector, in HALL 6 – STAND A01, and also with our Can Bech stand located in HALL 3 – A08! Don't miss it!

This March... We're going to Alimentaria!

From 18 to 21 March we will be in the capital for a few days to be part of the international food, beverage and food service show!

Alimentaria is an international meeting point of reference for all professionals in the food and beverage sector. This year's edition will highlight the increase in the number of participation options, as well as promoting the differential values of this event: internationalisation, innovation, gastronomy and specialisation.

We will be waiting for you at stand E151 in hall 1, at Alimentaria Barcelona, with all our sales team from Can Bech and GBech!

But that's not all, during the month of March and April we will have a full agenda with other events and fairs... Here you have our calendar for the next weeks!

SPECTACULAR THINGS HAVE HAPPENED THIS MONTH OF NOVEMBER...

At the Gastronomic Forum in Barcelona we won the prize for the Most Original Flavour, for our GBech beef ribs! Alba and Raul were in charge of collecting the award, what a great representation we have! To present the dish to the jury, Raul prepared our ribs with a special sauce based on GBech onion confit, Can Bech fig chutney, our dark veal stock and a little black truffle. We can assure you that it was delicious!

For those of you who already know it, and for those of you who don't, the rib confit is a very tender, tasty, melt-in-the-mouth piece, as well as being easy to handle and with a great presentation!

IT'S ALREADY CHRISTMAS IN CAN BECH!

Because we've been working for a few months now on the NEW thing you're about to discover for these holidays: the CAN BECH JUST FOR CHEESE ADVENT CALENDAR!

A special product for #cheeselovers and designed for the most gourmet palates, with which we want you to discover new flavors and new creations of Can Bech through a unique gourmet experience, which will accompany you from December 1 until Christmas Eve.

We are very excited to present you this new gastronomic experience, in which the entire Can Bech team has transferred our know-how, to prepare each of the 24 special sauces to pair with cheeses, that you will find in this new advent calendar.

You know that with Can Bech you can discover sauces, chutneys, traditional jams, cocoa spreads, but now, we want that the next 24 days when you open a window, you open yourself to a new culture, to the knowledge of new flavors, to enjoy the best pairings for the different types of cheeses, and to a new gastronomic world at the hands of Can Bech that will surprise you and awaken all 5 senses!

We're back from the summer holiday with good news! We have two new GREAT TASTE awards!

 We are in luck! Because our Can Bech Figs in Syrup and Can Bech Rose Petal Jelly have been awarded with two new GREAT TASTE awards!  

GREAT TASTE is undoubtedly one of the most renowned events in the European agri-food sector. It is held annually in the United Kingdom and has been organised by "The Guild of FINE FOOD" since 1994.  

Each and every one of the products presented are judged in a blind tasting by a jury of more than 400 professionals, including food journalists, retailers, chefs and buyers. All of them are in charge of evaluating the products solely and exclusively by their taste, regardless of the brand or packaging, in order to detect those products that really stand out from the rest.  

We couldn't be happier and more motivated to start this new campaign with enthusiasm! Let's keep going!

This 2022, we are renewing the SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD for our signature pairings for Just for Cheese cheeses!

We are pleased to announce that our range of sweet sauces designed exclusively for cheese pairing, the Just for Cheese sauces, have once again received the international Superior Taste Award! And this is the fourth consecutive year that we have received this distinction!

The Superior Taste Awards are certified by the International Taste Institute (Brussels), a world leader in the evaluation and certification of food and beverages for consumers. The jury, made up of top chefs and sommeliers from all over Europe, assesses all the products submitted on the basis of first impression, visual appearance, smell, taste and texture.  

We will keep working to offer you always the best!

From the 4th to the 7th April you will find us at the International Food, Beverages & Food Service Exhibition, ALIMENTARIA 2022 (Barcelona, Recinto Gran Via)! We will be located in pavilion 6 - stand D 201 and also in pavilion 1 - stand E 250-02, to present you our latest Can Bech and GBech releases, first hand! We are waiting for you all!

THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF CAN BECH

At Can Bech we are celebrating!  

We have some news that we are very excited to share with you... This month we are celebrating our 40th anniversary! Who would have thought, the first day we opened the Can Bech restaurant in Fontanilles (Baix Empordà - Costa Brava) that we would be here today! But yes, we have been making jams, premium sauces and much more for over 40 years!

Four decades of tireless work. 40 years by your side that have made us grow, innovate and never stop searching for excellence in our products.  

Because in every product we make, there is the sum of the experience, the "love" and the effort of all these years making premium fruit and vegetable preserves and much more! And here we are, with the same passion and enthusiasm as the first day!  

It is clear to us that none of this would have been possible without all those who have accompanied us along the way: customers, family, friends, suppliers, distributors, importers... But they say that the important thing is not to add years to life, but life to years, and of that we are sure! Thank you for always being there!

THREE NEW INTERNATIONAL SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD 2021!

It seems that this 2021 is a year of good news! Because one more year, we are very happy to inform you that we have received three new international SUPERIOR TASTE AWARDS!    

Our Just for Cheese sweet sauces for pairing with cheeses, which already received this award in 2019 and 2020, have renewed the award! So has our GBech 4aGama Oxtail, which last year also won this award. And this year, we add to the list of award-winning products our GBech 4aGama Roasted Pepper

A special pack for cheese lovers, which includes a pairing of different and original products to enjoy the authentic cheese experience. A combination of Just for Cheese sweet sauces and traditional Paul&Pipa crackers, two products designed exclusively for true #cheeselovers!

Paul&Pipa's traditional white truffle crackers, handmade with extra virgin olive oil, will provide the pairing the base and crunchy texture needed to combine with the selected cheeses.

GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2020, FOR OUR JUST FOR CHEESE GOLDEN APPLE SAUCE WITH TENDER PISTACHIOS FROM TURKEY AND CINNAMON FROM SRI LANKA!

After finishing a different year full of complicated situations, we bring you some good news to start 2021! We have just received some very happy news from the UK: after a second review, our Just for Cheese Golden apple sweet sauce, with pistachios and cinnamon has also been awarded by the English GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2020!  

The Just for Cheese Golden Apple sweet sauce with tender pistachios from Turkey and cinnamon from Sri Lanka is an exclusive sauce for pairing with hard cheeses, such as Manchego, Comte, Parmesan, Idiazabal, Gouda, Gruyere, etc. and any type of pressed and cured cheese! A pairing made with selected products: small dices of caramelised apple, refined tender pistachios with the ethereal aroma of cinnamon, make this a winning combination to enhance the pleasure of eating cheese.

WE HAVE RECEIVED A GREAT TASTE AWARD 2020 FOR OUR JUST FOR CHEESE SAUCE MADE FROM BLACK GRAPES AND MALLORCA ALMONDS! 

We are very happy to announce that our Just for Cheese sweet sauce made from black grapes and almonds from Mallorca has been awarded at the GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2020! 

Our “Black grapes and almonds from Mallorca” Just for cheese pairing , is an exclusive and excellent sweet sauce to pair with washed rind cheeses such as Munster, Maroilles, Livarot, Reblochon de Savoie, Taleggio... A sauce that we created with the best products, to enhance the taste and pleasure of eating cheese. And now it is even more appreciated! 

GRATE TASTE is one of the most recognized certificates by the European agri-food sector, born in the United Kingdom. Its jury is made up of 144 members, including some of the world's most demanding palates, such as food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, producers, buyers, retailers, writers and journalists. It is an award that values only the taste of the product, and seeks the excellence regardless of the brand or packaging of the product.

WE HAVE WON TWO NEW INTERNATIONAL SUPERIOR TASTE AWARD 2020!

We are excited to share with you that in early June our Just for Cheese sweet sauces renewed the Superior Taste Award! In addition, our beef tail from our GBech 4aGama restoration brand was also added to the award-winning list for this 2020!

These awards are certified by the International Taste Institute in Brussels (Belgium), an organization that is a world leader in the evaluation and certification of food and beverages for consumers.

The jury, made up of the best chefs and sommelier from all over Europe, evaluates all the products presented taking into account the first impression, the visual aspect, the smell, the taste and the texture.

Receiving international recognition like this encourages us day by day, and now more than ever. In difficult times the good news is doubly good! We continue! :)
