At Can Bech we are celebrating!
We have some news that we are very excited to share with you... This month we are celebrating our 40th anniversary! Who would have thought, the first day we opened the Can Bech restaurant in Fontanilles (Baix Empordà - Costa Brava) that we would be here today! But yes, we have been making jams, premium sauces and much more for over 40 years!
Four decades of tireless work. 40 years by your side that have made us grow, innovate and never stop searching for excellence in our products.
Because in every product we make, there is the sum of the experience, the "love" and the effort of all these years making premium fruit and vegetable preserves and much more! And here we are, with the same passion and enthusiasm as the first day!
It is clear to us that none of this would have been possible without all those who have accompanied us along the way: customers, family, friends, suppliers, distributors, importers... But they say that the important thing is not to add years to life, but life to years, and of that we are sure! Thank you for always being there!
It seems that this 2021 is a year of good news! Because one more year, we are very happy to inform you that we have received three new international SUPERIOR TASTE AWARDS!
Our Just for Cheese sweet sauces for pairing with cheeses, which already received this award in 2019 and 2020, have renewed the award! So has our GBech 4aGama Oxtail, which last year also won this award. And this year, we add to the list of award-winning products our GBech 4aGama Roasted Pepper!
A special pack for cheese lovers, which includes a pairing of different and original products to enjoy the authentic cheese experience. A combination of Just for Cheese sweet sauces and traditional Paul&Pipa crackers, two products designed exclusively for true #cheeselovers!

After finishing a different year full of complicated situations, we bring you some good news to start 2021! We have just received some very happy news from the UK: after a second review, our Just for Cheese Golden apple sweet sauce, with pistachios and cinnamon has also been awarded by the English GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2020!
The Just for Cheese Golden Apple sweet sauce with tender pistachios from Turkey and cinnamon from Sri Lanka is an exclusive sauce for pairing with hard cheeses, such as Manchego, Comte, Parmesan, Idiazabal, Gouda, Gruyere, etc. and any type of pressed and cured cheese! Its jury is made up of 144 members, including some of the world's most demanding palates, such as food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, producers, buyers, retailers, writers and journalists. It is an award that values only the taste of the product, and seeks the excellence regardless of the brand or packaging of the product.

We are excited to share with you that in early June our Just for Cheese sweet sauces renewed the Superior Taste Award! In addition, our beef tail from our GBech 4aGama restoration brand was also added to the award-winning list for this 2020!
These awards are certified by the International Taste Institute in Brussels (Belgium), an organization that is a world leader in the evaluation and certification of food and beverages for consumers.
The jury, made up of the best chefs and sommelier from all over Europe, evaluates all the products presented taking into account the first impression, the visual aspect, the smell, the taste and the texture.
Receiving international recognition like this encourages us day by day, and now more than ever. In difficult times the good news is doubly good! We continue! :)
